I recently got the chance to attend an event hosted by the Ottawa International Writer's Festival, which resulted in me now keeping my ear to the ground for future events from this fest.
Luckily I didn't have to wait very long! On Wednesday July 17th Outside of City Hall, the Writers Festival is presenting " Music and Film Under the Stars: Canadian Short Films with new scores by Mike Dubue.
This is a free event and includes a BBQ and a beverage! What better way to spend a summer evening?

Located in Dundonald Park from Mid-July to August, Centretown movies shows family friendly movies in the open-air theatre. Admission is pay-what-you-can and goes to local charities.

Outdoor Movie Nights in Hintonburg
First there is the indoor children’s movie that starts at 7pm inside the Hintonburg Community Centre. and second bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the summer evening watching a popular movie! The movies are free and volunteers sell freshly made popcorn and drinks at cost.
